Phaedra A novel by Dennis S Martin Synopsis
Rick Holden is a struggling writer. He has retreated to the seclusion
of Avalon Estates to complete his latest novel, one that is based on magic and witchcraft. This private estate offers the
perfect setting and exclusive privacy that he needs, privacy that he was not getting in his Manhattan apartment where his
clinging fiancé was pressuring him to move in together.
In returning to this Long Island manor after more
than a dozen years he renews his acquaintance with the mysterious Jewel household. Ophelia Jewel-Morgan, the stoic, high-browed
lady of the manor, her weak-willed husband, Chester, her playboy stepson, Radcliffe, the eccentric groundskeeper, Bodkin,
the neurotic housekeeper, Misses Bannaker and the intoxicating niece, Phaedra.
The Ancients say that life revolves
in a great circle, that no one ever really dies, that we merely evolve into another dimension. Phaedra believed in the Ancient
Mysteries, practiced them, lived by their code. She had spent her entire life on Avalon Estates learning the ways of the Craft.
Rick realizes this and looks to Phaedra for both instruction and inspiration. What he didn't expect to find was love.
Little did Rick know that he would be caught up in a world of mystery and intrigue that would have a far-reaching effect not
only on his life but also on the fate of future generations.
Phaedra is the story of a man and a woman caught up
in an impossible situation that is out of their control. It is a story of faith that endures through the ages, of two people
who continue to find each other, fight for each other and sacrifice all that they have for love.

Die
Messiah A novel by Dennis S Martin Synopsis
Who is David Christensen and why do certain people want
to see him dead? This self-effacing messiah who's only purpose in life is to help others has been referred to as saint, savior
and miracle worker, and yet there are those who would have him unmercifully executed.
David's rise to international
acclaim is chronicled in "Die Messiah". The relationships, the unexplainable miracles, the mystery, the phenomena
that arose around him are all put into perspective in this detailed account of his short life.
Perhaps the most
meaningful relationship in David's life, other than his mother, was with his close friend and personal bodyguard, Braxton
Lee Hunsenger. Much time is spent developing the brotherly bond between these two. On more than one occasion it would be Braxton
who would intercede to save the life of his devoted friend. How ironic that he would ultimately be the one charged with David's
execution-style assassination.
No one doubts that David Christensen is devout and sincere in his efforts to reach
out and help others. He founds and heads the largest international help organization on the planet and his fame and notoriety
grows to global proportions. It is when he unwillingly enters the world of politics that his real problems begin.
In this realm where truth is elusive at best and dangerous when given in large doses he quickly makes enemies, powerful
enemies. When the populace insists on placing him in a position of power the politicos plot to rid themselves of this new
nemesis.
"Die Messiah" is the story of the rise and fall of a modern-day legend. It is a study of fiction
in which truth is paramount. It is the tale of a world eager and anxious to accept a new messiah yet unable to cope with the
consequences.
